For more than 30 years Werner and his wife Gertraud led the Landhaus Sponsel-Regus. In the beginning there was also a butchery and a agricultural company included but now they focused on the hospitality sector.
Through innovative extensions and investments the wellness hotel in Franconia could develop further and since 2007 the Landhaus Sponsel-Regus is classified as a four star hotel. After their oldest son Michael came back from his apprenticeship he overtook the kitchen as head chef in 2008. The younger son Markus finished his study in hospitality management is know in the reception.
